Predicting repurchase intentions of green products in circular economy
Abstract
The adverse of the environment are becoming more popular, causing negative effects on human life such as floods, earthquakes, tsunami, etc. Rising mean sea level threaten coastal contries with many consequences to people. The number of cases effected badly by the changes of environment have been increased significantly. Because of that, environmental change is gradually receiving special attention for countries, researchers, economists and people. The lineaer economy is a series of making, using, and wasting, which put a lot of pressure on environment, contribute to negative environment changes. The shift from traditional economy to the circular economy provides enormous economic opportunities for each contries while reducing the imact of waste on the environment. Circular economy is a strategy towards sustainable development of countries, especially opportunities for Vietnam. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine the influence factors to repurchase intention of friendly environment products by using TPB model as the core theoretical framework and impractical supporting of environmental concern. A total 438 out of 454 qualified réponse were collected and tested by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research showed that attitude, subjecitve norm, percevied behavioral control and environmental concern significantly efect on friendly environmental products repurchasing intention. As the results, all variables effected to repurchase intention of green products as expected before conducting the test. The findings of this reasearch clarified the understanding of consumers' repurchase intention of friendly environment products which also the recommendations for people in using green products towards circular economy.
