dc.description.abstractThis paper investigated determining the variables affecting the using intention of e-wallets users, specifically using MOMO electronic wallet as a typical example in the context of Vietnam, a developing nation. Based on theoretical background including Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology Model (UTAUT), literature review and prior research, the research framework was developed with thirteen hypotheses. Via online and offline surveys, a number of 445 response was obtained. The outcomes indicate that Perceived Ease of use, Perceived Security, Perceived COVID-19 Risk, Social Influence, Government Support, Perceived Usefulness, have directly or indirectly effect on using intention of electronic wallet users, whereas the Perceived COVID-19 risk and Trust was found out that they do not have a direct influence on Intention. Moreover, this study provides implications and recommendations for e-wallet providers, Government, and is mentioned in more depth in the final chapter.
