| dc.description.abstract | As an effect of technology development in Viet Nam nowadays, technology has been widely applied on teaching and learning. According to e-learning systems and online resources, learning have become much easier to every students. With the similar meaning, at International University – VN National University, Blackboard has been in use as an e-learning system and also online resources, which promises to give students much more conveniences in information sharing and self-learning.
However, in order to optimize all of the Blackboard’s functions, IU students need to have some knowledge and experiences about using it. Mainly based on this purpose, this study was conducted to evaluate how IU students’ perception of Blackboard affects their attitude and intention to use Blackboard. With the findings and discussion through this study, hopefully, IU students will find some useful recommendations to most effectively use Blackboard.
After about three months conducted, this study included the response of 271 survey respondents and nine in-depth interviews’ participants. Attitude toward using Blackboard was demonstrated that caused significant influence on behavioral intention to use of Blackboard; and the attitude toward using was most affected by students’ perceived ease of use.
In spite of some limitations, this study includes some useful recommendations based on the result of two times in-depth interviews. This study promises to be useful for students, especially when the new version of Blackboard (Blackboard 9.1) is ready to be available at International University – VN National University. | en_US |
