Abstract
Kindergartens play an essential role in evolving children’s potential in the future according to experts. And in Vietnam, the government has been put out efforts to match the supply of schools, equipment as well as public kindergarten teachers with the high demand of sending children to kindergartens. However, the number of public kindergartens is remaining insufficient, especially in the rural areas and industrial zones. With many reasons including the facts mentioned, there is a rise in the number of private kindergartens. In fact, recently there have been two incidents involving children’s being mistreated in private kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, few experts in educational sector claimed that the root cause for these mistreating behaviors of private kindergarten teachers was poor work ethics.
