According to WHO, Worldwide obesity has more than doubled since 1980. Most of the world's population live in countries where overweight and obesity kills more people than underweight. Obesity is preventable. The best ways to reduce obesity are diet and exercise. But not all people can successful diet without medications or surgery. The aim of this project is to create a low-cost non-invasive fat-removal device using low level laser therapy. By this method, the device intends to remove unwanted fat without the need for surgical procedures. The laser liquefies fat within fat cells and causes the cells to release their contents, which are then naturally removed from the body. As a result of the collapsed fat cells, the volume of the waistline, hips and thighs is reduced. After the fat is removed, the cell basically dies. In this project, an infrared laser system of 635 nm wavelengths is designed. It includes a microcontroller system, a transformer and a diode laser board. Operating time is changed by buttons. The control circuit includes the 5 V power source, Arduino UNO R3, LCD display and keystrokes. Then, the system test themselves with 4 lab mice and the data of experiments would be analyzed. Knowledge used in the completion of this project largely come from electronics and mechanical field.en_US
