The effects of atmospheric environment on perceived quality and repurchase intention - An empirical study of fast food sector in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam
Abstract
This study is conducted in Hochiminh City of Vietnam to discover the effect
of atmospheric environments on repurchase intention through the mediation of
customer perceived quality. 402 surveys were distributed through online forms and
all of them were valid. The outcome showed that Tobacco Smoke and Music Volume
directly affected the repurchase intention. Meanwhile, Staff Attitude and Response,
Softness and Smoothness, Restaurant Layout, and Congruent Scent both have direct
and indirect effects on Repurchase Intention through the mediation of Perceived
Quality.
Following the results, reccommendation for fast food restaurant managers
and future researchers had been given .
