dc.description.abstractThis research investigated the antecedents of students’ major selection in Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, the effect of these antecedents on students’ major satisfaction is also discussed. In the paper, literature of major satisfaction was reviewed, followed by literature review of major selection process as well as its factors. At the end of this chapter, a conceptual model was provided, and 10 hypothesis were proposed. A sample of 401 students from 6 universities of Vietnam National University was surveyed via either online or offline channel. Results on the relationship between independent variables and dependents variable showed that there was 2 hypothesis was supported. Such findings are discussed, and recommendation and conclusion was provided at the end of this paper.en_US
