| dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents the results from a historical analysis and a valuation of Tien Phong Plastic Join Stock company. Tien Phong Plastic Company is the largest and a leading plastic producer in Vietnam.
The main purpose of the paper is to provide the reader with a theoretical value of Tien Phong Plastic (NTP). In order to do so, a number of mathematical and statistical approaches are being applied in an in depth analysis of NTP historic economic performance and cost of capital estimation.
The thesis is largely based on the framework for valuation: strategy analysis, financial analysis and prospective analysis. The financial statements have been reorganized to reflect economic value and measures of economical profitability. CAPM and WACC are also applied to estimate its cost of capital. And the fair value
of NTP is calculated by using the Discounted Cash Flow approach. | en_US |
