The influence of green human resource management on employees' green competencies - A case of Dalat's hospitality industry
Abstract
The aim of this research is to explore the influences of Green human resource management (GHRM) on green competencies of employees of the hotel industry in Dalat city. Specifically, the paper focuses on examining the influences of GHRM on employees’ various aspects namely green job commitment, green knowledge, green awareness, green attitude, green job performance, job satisfaction, job motivation, green workplace and out-of-workplace behaviors. A survey with 307 respondents has been carried out in the hospitality industry of Dalat to find out the correlations among the observed variables. The collected data have been processed with SPSS 20 and AMOS 24 for the purpose of reliability, validity and hypothesis testing. Overall, the findings indicates direct relationship among GHRM and the dependent variables. That is, GHRM has direct positive impacts on employees’ green competencies while green job commitment and green attitude also have positive influences on green workplace and out-of-workplace behaviors, respectively.
