Factors Affecting On Employee Job Performance When Implementing Work-From-Home Process During The Happening Of Covid-19: A Case Study In Ho Chi Minh City
Abstract
Purpose - This research focuses on exploring factors that affecting on employee job performance when they work-from-home during the happening of Covid-19. The case was applied for Ho Chi Minh City’ employees from 18 to 35 years old.
Design/methodology/approach - The survey gathered 258 qualified responses through Online Google Forms. Then collected data was processed by IBM SPSS 22 software.
Findings - The results indicated that five factors have impact on employee job performance. In particular, Work Pressure and Work Distraction will affect negatively while Work Motivation, Work Flexibility and Digital Capability will affect positively.
Contribution - This study gives implication for managers on control employee performance by enhancing positive elements such as Work Motivation, Work Flexibility, Digital Capability and limiting negative factors (Work Pressure, Work Distraction).
