Influence Of Ethical Leadership On Positive Moods, Job Satisfaction And Employee Loyalty In Public Section
Abstract
Ethics is an element that is being cared for towards sustainable development for
today's organizations, and the public sector plays a crucial part in the
development and progress of any country. Few scholars, however, have
developed a comprehensive study model for ethical leadership in the context of
public sector. Thus, this research presents a more comprehensive model with
four components: ethical leadership, positive moods, work satisfaction, and
loyalty of public employees. The present study aims to investigate the causal
relationships of ethical leadership with HR practices in the context of public
institutes in Vietnam. First, this study looked at relevant frameworks from
previous studies. The suggested paradigm is then evaluated in the context of
Vietnam. During the current COVID-19 epidemic, the researchers collected and
analyzed data using online survey methodologies and Partial Least Squares
software. The findings suggest that ethical leadership behaviors have a direct
and/or indirect beneficial effect on employee loyalty and positive moods. The
findings disproved one of the ten assumptions, namely that there is a direct link
between ethical leadership and employee loyalty. This research makes a
significant addition to leadership research and the public sector. In addition,
crucial recommendations for public organizations to improve management
efficiency are made.
