How Financial Support Affects A Firm's Creativity, Reputation, Competitive Advantage And Business Performance - A Case Study Of SMES In Ho Chi Minh City
Abstract
SMEs make a significant contribution to any economy because of their wide
coverage across the region. However, there are many fluctuations of the economy as
well as natural disasters, especially the COVID-19 pandemic, which has severely
affected these businesses. Despite many fluctuations, financial problems always exist
throughout and are also a difficult problem for SMEs. This study finds the
bottlenecks of the above situation and conducts a survey to find out the influence of
access to external finance on corporate performance. Entrepreneurial financial
support has been developed as a lifeline for SMEs in the stage of their business
development, the influence of entrepreneurial financial support is not only on
business performance but also organizational creativity, firm reputation and firm
competitive advantage. Research results show that entrepreneurial financial support
has a positive influence on businesses and the mediating role of organizational
creativity, firm reputation and firm competitive advantage is also identified. The
mission of this study is to contribute solutions to the current situation of SMEs in the
Ho Chi Minh city in order to develop these business models, bringing outstanding
business efficiency.
