Start a business for crochet products in Vietnamese market
Abstract
Being a U.S dollar millionaire in the next ten years is a target that motivates Van Nguyen to carry out this thesis. To obtain that target, the author plans to start up a new business to produce and sell crochet products in Vietnamese market. There are two main objectives that the company affords to achieve. The first one is providing the best products and after-sale services for target customers. Secondly, the company aims to pay higher salaries for employees.
That is the idea for my business plan which is presented in this thesis. Thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the researcher gives background of the whole document including rationale, problem statement, objectives as well as scope and limitation. The second chapter introduces the literature review to provide theories in analyzing the business plan. The most important part of the thesis is business plan. In details, the company was established under name VALUE Company. This is a private company with start-up fund of approximate $50,000. In the first three year, company serves domestic market in which Vietnamese female over-20-year old as well as foreigners is the most target customers. The thesis also presents a detail operating, marketing, and financial plans.
In order to test the feasibility of the business plan, mini focus group, three questionnaires accompanied with interviews are conducted. Thesis uses convenience sampling, descriptive statistics for data analysis.
The results are so interesting. There are 80 percent of asked respondents in three surveys agree with quality, color, and style of products. Moreover, from customers’ feedbacks, the researcher suggests some tips for the company to have better sale program
and further marketing researches.
