In recent years, warehouses have become more than just storage facilities; they've also become value-added centers. Many studies have shown that knowing warehouse design and management concepts can help improve the efficiency of operations. The case of a Gemadept Logistics Company warehouse in Binh Duong, Vietnam, which is the principal supplier to provinces throughout Vietnam's east and south, inspired this study. The corporation wants to eliminate weaknesses in the warehouse's present operations as demand for orders and delivery has increased in recent years. The organization used discrete-event simulation to help them detect and prevent potential problems hidden in the warehousing system. Simulation was used for the order picking and the put away processes, which was based on the company database. Furthermore, factors affecting the inbound, outbound, and worker utilization processes were identified and improved using the scheduling technique. The outcome is anticipated to accurately depict the current system; several scenarios will be shown to demonstrate the benefits of the current notion as well as its drawbacks. The solutions were given in accordance with the warehouse's case study overall purpose and practical resources.en_US
