| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis project, a tall building – one of the most invested places for a
living – will be the main objective. A structural design like slabs, beams, and walls,
will be processed in detail to describe the design steps. The first step will begin with
architecture drawing to the final is producing detail drawing for each structure
including slab, beam, column, and shear wall. Mostly, the code applying to this part
is EN-1991 (a.k.a EUROCODE), with some exceptions of using TCVN codes. The
structural design will take 50% of the places in this report.
For the rest of the report, there are formwork designs for some parts of the
building, and the management of construction. The formwork designs will be
described in detail, along with 2 drawings to demonstrate the work. The management
part will include calculations for quantities of formworks, steel, concrete, and
works/workers in demand. This part will also contain the initial investment value and
the construction work schedule for the building.
For the extra topic, there will be a contract folder included in this report for
the tender invitation, which contains materials for both sides of contractors: The
investor with the supervision consultant side, and the tender side.
Along with the design report are drawings used to express structural design
and superstructure construction in detail. They include architectural drawings, slab
and frame design and reinforcement, formwork construction, and being drawn by
