Planning exporting and importing and inland movement is a challenging and time consuming logistics decision, especially for businesses that have a constant movement flow of cargo. In this day and age, multimodal transportation (MTP) is a popular method to enhance inland movement and reduce transportation costs. This thesis considers the combination of 2 means of transportation which are container tractor and barge and aims to define the optimal routes for each mode. The location network spread from the domestic factory, inland container depot, seaport, and foreign warehouse. In addition, the model also takes into account the impact of allocation control, which is a big penalty if businesses fail to meet. The results of this model are then compared to the current practice of Logitech to prove the effectiveness of the proposed model.en_US
