This study investigates antioxidant and antidiabetic activity of ethyl acetate extract of Euphorbia Thymifolia Linn and two flavonoids, Luteonin (EL01) and quercetin-3-O- arabinofuranoside (EL02), were purified and identified from ethyl acetate extract. The antioxidant potential was evaluated by 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assay. The antidiabetic activity was analyzed by inhibiting the α- glucosidase activity. Total phenolic and flavonoid content was also determined. The EL02 showed a strong ingredient of antioxidants with IC50 of 0.013±0.50 µg/mL that is higher than Ascorbic acid with IC50 of 0.097±0.29 µg/mL. The EL02 also had a potential in antidiabetic activity with IC50 of 11.76±0.18 µg/mL, whereas IC50 of positive control, Acarbose, was 250.4±0.014 µg/mL.
