dc.description.abstract | Fibrinolytic or thrombolytic agents can convert plasminogen to plasmin, which hydrolyzes fibrin clots to avoid thrombosis in blood vessels, one of main causes of cardiovascular diseases. The objective of this study is to isolate bacteria from traditional fermented soybean in Vietnam to produce fibrinolytic enzyme high activity under optimal conditions. Five bacteria strains isolated from two samples produced higher enzyme activity than the others, in arrange
of 1.14-1.49 FU/ml. The strain which produced the highest fibrinolytic enzyme was identified as Enterobacter Mori. The optimal growing conditions of Enterobacter Mori for high fibrinolytic enzyme production were 1% of SSP as substrate at pH 7, 24h of incubation time, 37oC of incubation temperature and no concentration of NaCl. The highest activity of fibrinolytic enzyme in the optimal condition was 1.6 FU/ml
