Nowadays, audio amplifiers placed an important role in human life. Following the trend of modern life, a new audio amplifier should have high fidelity, high efficiency and portability. This puts engineers in finding new design or new combine to create new audio amplifier generation. This project tends to build up a new combination of audio amplifier. Class AB amplifier has high linearity characteristic but high power consumption is this class’ weakness. On the other hand, class D amplifier provides an alternative design that save up the energy but high frequency at output prevents its fidelity in sound. The concept of this project is combine the high fidelity of class AB and high efficiency of class D by connect it in parallel with the self-oscillating technique in switching network.en_US
