dc.description.abstractThis research has been conducted to investigate the factors that effecting employee engagement behavior in Information Technology industry in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The research has adopted engagement model from Aon Hewitt (2013) and tested the model in the condition of Vietnam IT Industry in 2015. The literature review was built on previous studies about employee engagement, employee satisfaction and employee commitment in public journal, text books and business review articles. Among multiplicity of factors impacting to employee engagement behaviors, researcher choose to only focus on six (06) factors that proposed in Aon Hewitt engagement model which are: Company practices, Work, People, Quality of Life, Opportunities and Total Rewards. Based on the secondary data that collected from 204 questionnaires, SPSS version 20.0 was used to analyze the inputs in order to confirm research reliability and the relationship between independent indicators and engagement behavior. The research result showed that among six proposed independent factors, there were enough evidence to prove that there was a positive relationship between Job Satisfaction, Reward & Recognition and Career Development factor toward employee engagement behavior. The context of this research consists of its nature limitations, therefore, it is suggested that future researcher could expand the research scope and improve current weaknesses of this study when investigate deeply about engagement matter.
