dc.description.abstractIt is often believed that good security improves trust, and that the perception in trust and security will eventually affect the decision of customers in keep using electronic commerce. In fact, customer’s perceived security of electronic payment systems has become main factor in the development of electronic commerce in markets. The previous research showed that there was not only security perception affected on the use of e-payment systems, but the trust perception was also more important factor that affected the use of e-payment systems, and there was an existence positive relationship between these perceptions. In this study, from the viewpoint of Vietinbank’s customers, I examine issues related the decision of customers in keep using Vietinbank EPS (Vietinbank e-banking). This study proposes a conceptual model that describes the factors of customer’s perceived security and perceived trust, as well as the impacts of perceived security and perceived trust on the extent of using Vietinbank EPS. To test the model, structural equation modeling is used to analysis data collected from 433 customers of Vietinbank in Ho Chi Minh City. This research provides a theoretical foundation for academics and also practical guidelines for Vietinbank in dealing with the decision of customers in keep using Vietinbank e-banking.
