dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, new side-coupled Schiffman phase shifters about 482 MHz, 85 degree phase shift and 45 degree are studied. The phase shift results for FR-4 material (PCB material) used in the simulated models are very different in comparison with Phenol formaldehyde material (PCB material) used for fabrication. However the fabricated results are shown that the phase shifter could be applicable for 45 degree in phase difference at several frequencies and around 80 degree at frequencies range from 650 MHz to 1.2 GHz for some specific model. In addition, the phase shifters seem very promising and useful for wireless applications.en_US
