The number of people accessing to the Internet through their mobile devices such as tablets or smart phones increases in the recent years. The most mobile traffic is the content transmission which is duplicated. Also, the duplicated content is downloaded on the mobile network. The deployment of the cache enabled of base station at the radio access network makes to increase the satisfaction of users and decrease the transmission traffic on the backhaul links. The Adaptive Bit Rate (ABR) Streaming, which is used by HTTP, is one of the famous video streaming techniques on the Internet nowadays. The adaptive bit rate streaming techniques enable the high quality of media content to be streamed over the Internet, which is delivered from the ordinary HTTP web servers. With ABR, the each media file is encoded into one or more representations with different sizes corresponding to varied video performances. In the thesis, we will introduce an integer linear program (ILP) model for video content caching maximizing the amount of QoE supported which is by a cache enabled eNodeB, and minimize the transmission traffic on the backhaul links. A content placement algorithm is proposed which is based on the greedy algorithm to solve the LP-relaxed ILP. Moreover, the simulation of this thesis shows that our proposed algorithm has yielded a higher QoE and a lower transit traffic on the backhaul links than the least recently used and the least frequently used eviction algorithms.en_US
