dc.description.abstractStructural design is the primary aspect of civil engineering. This dissertation deals with the design of Lancaster 230 Nguyen Trai, located on Nguyen Trai street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this thesis, structural design of slabs, beams, columns, and walls will be described based on the architect drawing and anticipated load applied on the structure. A special topic, flat slab, will be carried out and compared with the slab-beam method for this structure. In addition, along with the soil properties, the pile foundation design will be considered. Beside the structural design, structural drawing is drawn according to the value calculated with the aid of AutoCad and Revit. Those drawings include architect drawing, slab reinforcement, frame design, and foundation design.en_US
