Digital dashboard is more popular than ever, especially in the era of data explosion. Dashboard owns the ability that enables organizations to measure, monitor, and manage business activities through the multilayered performance management visualizations [1]. It is designed to provide summative information that shortens the decision-making process of human being and enhances the persuasion of determinations. However, not every dashboard succeeds in showing intuitive visions about data. Some distort the innocent data, which indicates the wrong insights. Several ones fail at delivering the trustworthy information. These problems occur as the graphical principles are not a well-known knowledge and the storage system holds low-valued information. Therefore, the dissertation aims to emphasize the key element of creating a meaningful dashboard with high accuracy, which is the visualization rules that the majority may underestimate; and to recommends a suitable solution for the data warehouse system. Regarding the theories of data graphics, a set of common graphical mistakes including the lie factors, low data-ink ratio, unintentional optical arts, self-promoting graphics, etc. are listed out with detailed explanation and examples. In terms of finding a model for data storage system, the Data Vault 2.0 architecture [2] is introduced. By using the approach based on the three main entities which are the hub, link, and satellite, the data warehouse not only promises to satisfy the auditability which guarantees to bring the reliable stories, but also relieves the work of data engineers thanks to the flexibility and scalability. What is more, in order to evaluate these mentioned theories, a practical project is involved. The business scope of the project surrounds the real estate.en_US
