The article content illustrates the non-permutation flow shop scheduling. There are two crucial factors: manpower and job are combines to form the mathematical model. Job will be separate into small tasks for each station. Labor includes different working skills and will be provided some tasks where they work in station. The Mix – Integer Programming is formulated to figure out the optimal number of workers in Bodyshop line E/S in Mercedes-Benz Vietnam. A case study of Bodyshop line E/S Mercedes-Benz Vietnam is chosen to apply this research. The data is collected from the factory. CPLEX software is performed. Results are verified and compared with current situation of the company, to evaluate the effectiveness of the model in making flow shop scheduling decision.
