T Human factors are some of the most critical steps that decide the manufacturing process's overall performance. Especially, manual task handling extracted from complex physical health injuries of production assembly line workers related to ergonomics aspect and intense competition of profit among players in the same fields has motivated many companies to invest to improve the productivity of every stage of the manufacturing process. At the same time, the potential growth of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques has allowed experts and researchers to apply in ergonomics fields as well as make appropriate improvement plans to satisfy the current demand for assembly line employees’ ergonomic issues. This paper aims to fulfill the main goal to achieve the scope of the study of the existing physical health and productivity issues related to ergonomics of assembly line workers for conducting and suggesting an appropriate design guideline and other factors directly affecting the production line using the implementation of ergonomics, especially motion study and work design, and MCDM technique which is the integration of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach. Therefore, the result of this application will help the student researcher suggest some ideas to improve employees’ ergonomic factors to increase their productivity for the company. In this work, the proposed solution is applied for GFY Company – a new player in the printed circuit boards manufacturing industry in Vietnam which is seeking most employees’ productivity and workforce optimization.en_US
