End-to-end Capacity and Available Bandwidth are fundamental metrics both for ISPs and for the end-users in many practical applications. Those information help users ensure that they have enough bandwidth demanding by the applications and moreover, those metrics can be used as evaluative criteria for ISPs quality and performance. But for some special reason, ISPs are never public performance of the link under their direct control to ADSL subscribers. The end-users are unsure about the network conditions. Some studies have proposed techniques for measure the capacity and the available bandwidth to help the subscribers overcome the above constrain. However, most of these works require the cooperative of the end host that mean the software must be install both in the beginning and the end of the path. The purpose of this thesis has three aspects: first, study the new capacity and available bandwidth estimation technique for non-cooperative environment - that means do not required end hosts cooperative. Second, validate the tools in control host and in real traffic, based on that we infer some conclusion about Vietnam ISP performance. Third, build an automate model automatically use the tool to measurement the available bandwidth of large amount of host in a long time period.en_US
