dc.description.abstract | Bayesian is an elegant solution which is applied for digital communication
channel equalization, especially decision feedback equalizer. This is an extension to the
maximum a posteriori probability symbol-decision equalizer to include decision
feedback. By using MatLab to simulate the Bayesian Transversal Equalizer (BTE) and
Bayesian Decision Feedback Equalizer BDFE), this paper shows how better BDFE
compares to BTE, also the advantages of Bayesian solution comparing to other method to
solve the channel equalization. A scheme of utilizing decision feedback is proposed
which not only improves equalization performance but also reduces computational
complexity dramatically. With the given data and simple formulas, Bayesian solution
brings more the high speed and accuracy in calculation than some other solutions. | en_US |
