Design an integrated-oscillator microstrip antenna working at 5.8 GHz
Abstract
The antenna integrated RF Front-end has been a growing area of research. The advantage of the antenna-integrated RF front ends is capable of improving the circuit-efficiency and compactness.
My thesis project is to design an integrated oscillator-antenna circuit using microstrip working at C-band in board circuit in order to create simple transmission radar. The design consists of two fundamental circuits: an oscillator circuit and an antenna. First step, the design is focused on an oscillator circuit operating at C-band frequency after that fabricated in PCB board. Then, a microstrip antenna will be designed, fabricated and connected to the oscillator. Lastly, a whole system will be optimized and measurement for working at several frequencies in C-band. The end purpose of my thesis is to create a low cost radar system for object detection using in car park.
