Evaluating performance in multimedia display distributed system

Abstract

In this thesis, a simple Multimedia System has been designed to transfer data from the Terminal to MCU and display the Video content through Wi-Fi. With this system, user can easy to control from a far distance. In term of hardware, Smart210 (Tiny210v2) | S5PV210 ARM Cortex-A8 Board FriendlyAR are chosen to establish wireless network to build a Multimedia Display Distributed System, this board is used to receive data from terminal and transmit images to the displayed screens In term of software, I have used several monitoring tools to evaluating performance of system. In more details, I will compare the performance between 2 applications and simulating number of nodes that can connect to server at the same time.
