dc.description.abstract | One of the difficulties in education is that most of the examinations are now taking as multiple-choice form and the process of grading is still very unreliable and inaccurate. Therefore, the need for a machine to handle this problem is very practical.
In this thesis, RFM12 and RFM12B modules are commercial transceivers which
are developed by Hope Electronics Co. Ltd, are chosen to build a wireless network. This model network contains one master and two slaves. The master will control the data from
the slaves in order to analyze them on the GUI via Visual Basic.
Moreover, based on this wireless network, a hand-held device is designed to input
the data and transfer to PC via RS-232 for the main application is test scoring machine such as multiple-choice questions grading. The reasons for choosing this kind of modules
for the designed system is that they are not embedded protocol inside so a designed protocol can be applied into these modules to test the necessary functions for
communication among nodes. | en_US |
