Ontology-based Music Recommender System

Abstract

Every single day, a lot of songs were composed in the world. But people just only listen some their favorite songs day by day. They feel hard to find out new songs which they’re really interested in. This is a reason why the ontology-based music recommender system was born. The system collects all information of users and songs in order to connect them together. After that, it tries to seek out songs that match the user preferences based on the ratings provided by other users, the artist who presents the song, the similar tracks or the similar tags.
