| dc.description.abstract | This report outlines the development of a medical record management system, built for the purpose of managing data of patients in hospitals or clinics. It involves the construction of a web-based system, one that adheres to modern web development principles and methodologies. The system is separated into two main components, a front-end a back-end. This is to allow the system to be accessed by users independent of their device, whether on mobile or desktop, as long as the service is hosted on a server, it can be accessed via web browser. Building a back-end separately allows the project to be extendible in the future, improve performance and prevent loss of data if one part of the system is malfunctioned. The aim of this system is to allow patient users to view information about their health, make appointments and for doctors to manage patient information and schedule meetings. | en_US |
