Simple microprocessor design

Abstract

Computers and computer systems nowadays are used all over the world. It has an important role in our life, such as controlling robot in automatic manufacturing, operating electronics devices, etc. The central component of the systems is the microprocessor, or the Central Processing Unit (CPU).

In this thesis, using Altera DE2 kit and with help of Quartus II and Nios II IDE, the microprocessor design will be synthesized and implemented, to perform simple calculation.
