dc.description.abstract | The thesis focuses on designing a multistage water rocket to launch CanSat. I will explain
the procedures for launching water rockets as well as the steps to optimize them. I also designed
an electronic circuit with an accelerometer to calculate the rocket’s parameters during launch.
Besides, the paper also calculates the physical quantities related to rockets such as velocity,
acceleration, atmospheric pressure, and angular deflection at launch. The laws of physics are
combined with mathematics used to calculate the above quantities. Then, the calculated results
will be compared with the actual results of the rocket (based on an accelerometer mounted on the
rocket) to evaluate the error between reality and theory.
The thesis has calculated the maximum velocity achieved by the water rocket during the
launching process. After performing the calculations and comparing them with the actual
maximum velocity of the water rocket, the results show an accuracy of up to 80%. However, the
accuracy varies unevenly among different pressure levels. | en_US |
