A web-based system for articles management
Abstract
Researchers and administrators alike recognize the critical need of efficient article
management in the modern digital world. The manual processing of items, however, can be
laborious, time-consuming, and error prone. As a result, there is an urgent requirement for
a user-friendly, web-based content management system with advanced features and
automation options.
In this thesis, I propose the development of a comprehensive web-based system for
articles management, titled "A web-based system for articles management", also called as
AMS. The project's main goal is to build a system that is easy for both administrators and
researchers to use. The technology facilitates effective administration of publications and
researcher profiles. In addition to creating, viewing, updating, and deleting articles, they
can also make, view, and manage researcher accounts. On the other hand, researchers
receive access to a variety of tools, including the ability to create, view, delete, and update
their own articles. Additionally, they can narrow their article search by title, author, or
subject area. The system also has a unique feature that would save researchers time and
effort by automatically creating citations for article. Article documents could be uploaded
and downloaded with ease thanks to the system's user-friendly interface.
This web-based solution attempts to improve research community efficiency,
accuracy, and collaboration by tackling the difficulties inherent in managing articles.
