Structural Design Of Tung Lam Office Building In Hoa Thuan Dong Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City

Abstract

This graduation thesis report describes the process of structural design, and foundation design of a specific tall building. The structural design focuses on the main components of the building, namely, slab, beams, and walls that begin with the architecture and finish with the detailed designs. And the main objectives of foundation design is to ensure that the structural loads are transmitted to the subsoil(s) safely, economically, and without any unacceptable movement during the construction period and throughout the anticipated life of the building. The structural and foundation design in this thesis is based on the analysis result of the software and followed the standard of Eurocode to determine actions on structures, earthquake resistance, design codes of concrete structures, and pile foundation followed the book Principles of foundation engineering. The design process results in the reinforcing details for the flat slab, edge beams, columns of typical floors, and the group piles of the pile caps.
