Bcons Apartment Structural Design And Construction Management Dong Hoa Ward, Di An City, Bing Duong
Abstract
The main goal of this thesis project will be a tall building, which is one of the
most invested places for living. Structural design elements such as slabs, beams, and
piers will be thoroughly examined in order to describe the design steps.
Furthermore, construction management will be included and calculated to ensure
that the project is run correctly. The first step will be to create an architecture
drawing, and the final step will be to create detail drawings for each structure,
including the slab, beam, and piers.
In terms of special topics, there are numerous types in this project that
demonstrate the differences between methods in order to provide the most efficient
constructing option.
For example, wind force will be calculated in accordance with EN-1991
(Euro code), slab design will be carried out in the form of a solid slab by comparing
two methods of calculation, and piers design will be handled in three distinct
methods: edge method, pressure division method, and interaction diagram method
to determine the most effective way of calculation.
Following that, knowledge gained in the Civil Engineering course will be
applied to determine the proper formwork size for beams, slabs, and piers.
Drawings are used in conjunction with the design report to express structural
designs derived from those files in detail. They include architect drawings, slab
reinforcement, and frame drawings created with Auto Computer aided design and
drafting (CADD) software.
