Design And Implementation Of An Iot-Based Blood Oxygen Measurement Integrated Infusion Pump
Abstract
In the medical field, infusion plays a crucial role in treatment. However,
traditional infusion systems often encounter limitations such as limited monitoring,
high cost, and inflexible problem detection and resolution, leading to inaccurate and
unsafe drug distribution. The project introduces an innovative infusion pump system
with IoT integration to enhance the cost-effectiveness, safety, and efficiency of medical
treatments. This system monitors key parameters including infusion rate, syringe
pressure, and SpO2 concentration, incorporating unique features such as a reciprocating
vibration mechanism and pressure sensor to improve reliability. Through IoT
integration and mobile app compatibility, the system offers real-time data display,
remote monitoring, and immediate alert notifications to address issues promptly.
Designed for user-friendliness and compliance with medical standards, this advanced
system enhances patient safety, improves treatment efficiency, and supports medical
research, showcasing the impact of technological innovation in healthcare. Accuracy
measurement and reporting are conducted through comparison of results between the
new and traditional systems, ensuring the system's effectiveness in disease treatment.
