dc.description.abstractWith the development of technology and the internet, nowadays, the demand to provide on-site service has gradually become a new trend that brings many benefits to users and be one of the characteristics that large and small businesses are aiming to promote and attract customers. By booking a service throught a mobile application or website, users can stay at their position and receive the service after a few minutes, which is very fast and convenient. Especially in some emergency situations, such as vehicle problems during travel, it is extremely necessary to order car repair assistance through mobile applications. That is why we decided to develop DAO - an On-Road Vehicle Breakdown Assistance application. Instead of frantically searching for a garage phone number for troubleshooting assistance, the application will provide a list of nearby garages based on the location where customers are having trouble with their vehicles. The app will also provide a more authentic source of information because only the legally and approved mechanics are enlisted in the DAO system. With this application, users can search for nearby garages, book services, and pay after the service is completed. The garage side will also receive a notification from the customer when having a new order form. Moreover, DAO also provides a booking maintenance function that allows customers to make an appointment with a suitable time frame before bringing the vehicle to the garage for maintenance. In this research, we first clarify the problem and the scope, from which we developed suitable solutions to create the application. Then, in order to gather user input, we investigated some similar applications and discovered their benefits and drawbacks to make some comparisons. Business analysis is also one of the important steps in project implementation. Then, we create the data system and the interface and begin the implementation process. Nodejs was used to create the API, MongoDB was applied to store the data, and Visual Code Studio to finish the application. The entire system will include one mobile application for the client and mechanic side as well as one management website for the manager, accountant, and admin. DAO is expected to be a good and effective solution for people seeking help in remote locations with mechanical vehicle issues. We are also eager to receive and learn in the future to assist the application to improve further.en_US
