platforms leverage various technologies to enhance user experience, one of which is the
recommendation system.
Recommendation systems play a pivotal role in e-commerce platforms. They are
not only enhancing the shopping experience by providing personalized suggestions based
on user behavior and preferences but also contribute significantly to the platform’s
revenue by promoting products and increasing sales.
This thesis aims to explore the development and implementation of a
recommendation algorithm for an e-commerce platform. A simple e-commerce website
along with some recommendations feature will be built. This thesis will try to explore the
usefulness, and the challenges encountered, and potential solutions to overcome these
