Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a common condition among elderly individuals and is associated with a decline in cognitive abilities, particularly memory capacity. A significant impact on the daily functioning and overall well-being of individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) may result from a decline in their memory capacity. This thesis suggests developing a cross-platform program with the specific purpose of improving the memory capacity of those diagnosed with MCI, both in the short-term and long-term. The tool is specifically well-suited for older users, given that older adults constitute the bulk of those with MCI. The research utilized a mixed-methods approach to achieve its objectives, particularly by incorporating prior research on the influence of memory games on fertility in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). We conducted a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the game genre, level of difficulty, graphic assets, and user interface before developing this application to guarantee that it would effectively stimulate the player’s memory. The aim of this study was to develop a memory improvement application that is compatible with several platforms and can help alleviate memory impairment in the target population. Furthermore, the program has other features such as rankings, objectives, and daily monitoring. These elements are specifically created to guarantee long-term user involvement and enable them to obtain favorable advantages from the game for a prolonged duration. Additionally, the application is especially tailored to cater to the requirements and cultural preferences of the senior demographic, who constitutes the majority of persons with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). Nevertheless, the program has the potential to be extensively utilized by many user demographics. In addition, a website has been developed for healthcare practitioners to monitor the progress of attention deficit disorder. This is achieved by presenting visual depictions of patients’ performance within a designated period. The website enables healthcare professionals to collect participant data, including reaction times and scores, in order to objectively evaluate the game’s ability to improve memory. This data has the potential to establish a reliable database for future research on Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). In order to execute this project, we employed the Flutter framework, utilizing the Dart programming language to construct the complete mobile user interface. Additionally, we utilized Angular to develop the website interface for doctor monitoring. Java and the Spring Boot framework were utilized on the back-end to store, process, and export data over an API. This enabled the website and the monitoring program to exchange data. In order to enable a variety of cross-cutting functionalities, including security and connectivity, as well as to send SMS and notifications, numerous dependencies were implemented on both the front-end and back-end. The project was eventually practically finished by hosting the whole website and backend on a Linux server, releasing the software to the iOS App Store and Android CHPlay, and setting up the system to start data collecting. The findings of this study will provide an alternate approach for cognitive treatment in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).The findings of this study will give important insight on the viability and effectiveness of using a mobile application to enhance focus and attention in people with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). This effort also attempts to solve the existing lack of technological alternatives for senior citizens with cognitive impairments that are culturally suitable.en_US
