Construction Worker Rental Platform
Abstract
This thesis delves into the development and execution of a digital platform for renting
construction workers. The research investigates the challenges and opportunities that come
with shifting from traditional hiring methods to the digital platform. It analyzes the impact of
such a platform on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction in the construction
industry. Research methodologies include a comprehensive literature review, surveys, and
case studies of existing digital rental platforms. The initial findings suggest that digital
platforms can greatly enhance the hiring process by improving accessibility, transparency,
and convenience for both workers and renters. However, the study also identifies potential
obstacles such as data security and user resistance to technology adoption. The thesis
concludes with recommendations for successful platform implementation and areas for future
research.
