dc.description.abstractRadio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has developed rapidly in recent years. Varieties of applications in many fields use RFID such as: tracking and identification, payment and stored value systems, access control, anti-counterfeiting… It‟s easy to find RFID system in the market, smart building, hotel… However most of them use wired connection to communicate with management center, this can cause difficulties in setting up and implementation of RFID system, especially security monitoring and access control, which require large number of readers in different rooms. RFID integrated with ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network Node will be a good solution for this problem. In this thesis, an RFID reader was developed to integrate with ZigBee node platform which can transmit and receive data through wireless sensor network to management center. Moreover, the reader has also extension flash memory to store ID tag for stand-alone operation. A friendly graphical user interface (GUI) was constructed of using Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 software to display the receiving data from the reader, save all the activities of users to software database and also add or edit user‟s information.en_US
