Deployment of radio frequency identification (RFID) system has been rapidly growing and had the potential to affect many different industries. RFID system operates in many frequencies such as 125 KHz, 13.56 MHz, UHF frequency band 900MHz, and 2.4 GHz… UHF RFID technology is now widely applied in various long distance applications such as access control system, parking management solutions, transportation and logistics management. The goal of the thesis project is to study the UHF RFID technology and trying to build a controller module which interfaces with UHF RFID AS3992 module. The thesis work consists of two main parts: Building a circuit to implement a microcontroller kit based on Atmega-32 to communicate with UHF RFID AS3992 module, and building a firmware for UHF RFID Reader which can read and write AS3992 IC.en_US
