Life music: Music application for iOS

Abstract

There’s no denying the fact that Apple is one of the leading technology corporation in the

world today. Its business is at the cutting edge of information technology with a large number of state-of-the-art items such as laptop, desktop, mp3 player, smart phone and the latest tablet named iPad. Apple’s products are not only famous for their fashionable design, high-quality hardware but optimize and support them with its own operating system. My thesis, therefore, will focus on Apple’s mobile operating system – called iOS that runs on Apple’s handheld devices such as iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. The iOS has become a landmark, completely innovating the mobile device portion of information technology. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how to develop a music application on this attractive platform. To be more detailed, I did research to create a music application for iPhone with some features such as playing music, managing your playlist libraries, commenting on songs and sharing songs and your music style through the greatest contemporary social network is Facebook.

Although this application is implemented and tested carefully, bugs are inevitable. With a limited research phase, I have to learn how to use a new programming language such as Object- C and be familiar with a completely new working environment, iOS; consequently, the application cannot be perfect. Thus, my study need to be enhanced and the music application also need more improvements in the future.
