Business analysis and evaluation of Binh Minh plastic joint stock company

Abstract

Business analysis and valuation is used to analyze the performance of the enterprise in the past along with the economic and industry situation to measure the intrinsic value of stock price of a specific firm and determine how well the firm perform. My thesis will analyze Binh Minh Plastic JSC, (BMP), one of leading construction plastic pipe companies in Vietnam companies. The thesis has been divided into four main parts: the introduction, literature review and methodology used in the report; the company’s strategy analysis and prospective analysis. The goal of the study is to analyze and evaluate the current performance and also forecast the future operation of BMP. Through the discussion of various valuation methods and techniques into the case of BMP, the study willing to present a valuation method in the decision-making process of the Vietnamese investors and also show how to conduct a structured strategy, financial and prospective analysis, how to make rational investment to buy/sell/hold particular stock based on the value calculated. This evaluated information will help investors have a better understanding about the firm’s operation in order to reveal if the BMP stock giving a good value to invest.
