dc.description.abstractIn fact, employee performance plays an important role in every organization. Therefore, making a study on factors influence employee performance is necessary in order to improve and develop human resources management strategy. In general, the research uses to examine the impact of personality on job performance of Government employees in Ho Chi Minh City and to discover how it differs in distinct gender and age groups. The result also provides a better understanding of how well is the Government employee performance. Big five traits, which is most common theoretical of personality, will be used in this research. Quantitative method with self-administered survey are applied. There were 279 respondents were participated in the research, which mainly come from Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Department and Department of Information and Communications. After that, several tests are ran in order to analyse data, give conclusion as well as appropriate recommendations. Finally, the result reports the possible relationship between Conscientiousness, Extraversion, which are two traits of Big Five personality and Government employee performance. One more finding is that the research model can be applied for every people regardless gender and age.en_US
