dc.description.abstractThe study has evaluated the impact of technology innovation, employee characteristics, managerial and trading strategies affecting labor productivity of Vietnamese SMEs by examining longitudinal data of over 12500 Vietnam SMEs samples during the period from 2005 to 2013. Positive impact of technology estimated by diffusion of Internet in companies and using imported machineries on firm labor productivity has been proved by empirical evidence. The study has illustrated the analysis of the hinder of some labor characteristics, as well as the importance role of high-educated employees in overall firm productivity. The effectiveness of some human resource policies related to compensation and motivation has been evaluated. The relationship between foreign trading activities including importing and exporting has also been analyzed in this research.en_US
